FLORAL PAPER PLATES



Paper plates previously, were used only for children's parties, outdoor barbeques, picnics, campsites, etc. The purpose is primarily to use them and throw them out - no washing, no drying, no hassle. Paper plates are made of plant fiber (from trees) and the prints on the paper plates are (or should be) made of non-toxic, water soluble dyes. There is a variety of floral paper plates available in the market today. In consumer packets, they range from about $0.99 for a pack of 8 pieces to as high as $12.50 for a coordinated set that include salad bowls, napkins and the like. Some coordinated packs include paper napkins, guest towels, paper salad bowls, paper soup bowls, paper beverage cups, paper tablecloths and even party invitations. These packs will fetch for a higher price.



The market offers a gamut of choices for floral paper plates. They differ in size, in shape, in usage, in style, on the occasion, and in the packaging. Floral paper plates are available in a range of sizes so you have plenty of choices depending on your need. The smallest paper plate would probably be 6 inches in diameter. There are 7", 8", 8 ¾", 9", 9.5", 10", 10 ¼", and 11" options.

Shapes of these floral paper plates are also varied - at present (they invent new ones every time), the available shapes are round, square, hexagonal, oval and oblong. The rims on some floral paper plates are may textured (rippled) or the plates may have partitions.

You can buy floral paper plates that are labeled as dinner plates or dessert plates or cake plates or luncheon plates or banquet plates. There are also "occasion" floral paper plates - for thanksgiving, birthdays, autumn, summer, spring, and maybe even winter!

Packaging is also different depending on what you require. If you're purchasing floral paper plates alone, a minimum of 8 pieces in a pack is available. There are those with 10 pieces, 12 pieces, 18 pieces and 24 pieces. The larger quantities, however, may be harder to come by perhaps because, at this number, you're probably better off buying a set. You may also find wholesale packaging for plates alone with as little as 96 pieces in one box to as much as thousands.
